Fire and Victory
One of the oldest houses on campus. A dragon at the gate, four hundred residents inside, and a reputation that still walks into every GC, every fest, every room.
Click the dragon up top. It breathes fire.
The house
Discover the spirit of excellence and community at Jwalamukhi Hostel, one of IIT Delhi’s most iconic residences. Established in 1965, Jwalamukhi sits near Gate No. 6 — a home of around 400 students, and a blend of tradition that never went quiet.
The house is a powerhouse of sport, with a long GC streak that still gets talked about in other hostels. Culture here is loud on purpose. Alumni out of these corridors went on to build Flipkart, Meesho, Udaan and more. The motto is not decoration. Fire and Victory is how the place actually runs.

RDA, nights, stages, and the kind of noise that makes a hostel feel like a city.
Juniors do not get lost here. The chain of people who show you the way is the real infrastructure.
The dragon is not a mascot we borrowed. It is the animal. Click it. Let it burn.
